Dorothy "Dot" Shepherd Llobet, 81, of Ashburn formerly of Miami, Florida and Lake Park, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at her residence with her sister, Jane Shepherd Coleman and niece Sunny Pierce by her side.
Dorothy, affectionately known as "Dot" to everyone that she knew, was born on July 14, 1937 to the late W. D. and Mary L. Hobby Shepherd. She retired after 30 years from the Dade County Criminal Courts where she worked as the Chief Judge's Clerk. After retirement, Dot moved to Lake Park. She was a member of the Valdosta Women's Club, a line dancing group and the Silver Sneakers exercise group.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Llobet of Boston, Massachusetts; brother, John W. Shepherd of Ashburn; sister, Jane Shepherd Coleman of Ashburn; nephews and nieces, John (Ann) Shepherd, Jr. of Tifton and Angelia (Donnie) Cook of Ashburn. She is also survived by her caregiver niece, Saundra "Sunny" (Don) Pierce of Ashburn with whom Dot lived with.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Perry Funeral Chapel.
