She began her teaching career in Ty Ty, GA. Later, she moved to Bartow, FL. She taught for 30 plus years in Polk County Public School. She had a passion and dedication for educating the youth. She empowered her own children to embrace life and have faith in God, believing that through Him, all things are possible.
