Mrs. Stacey is survived by her husband, Leon Stacey of Lenox (West Berrien); her mother, Bettye Carolyn Shannon Hancock of Adel; a step-daughter, Tammy Cox of McCallister, Oklahoma; a half-sister, Kelly Castleberry of Washington State; and a "sister", Carrie Lindsey Jones. She was preceded in death by her father and her brother, Sonny Michael Hancock.
The family received friends Saturday January 6, 2018 from 6 until 8 PM at Boone Funeral Home South. The funeral service took place Sunday January 7 at 2 M at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Berrien County with Rev. Jimmy Parker officiating; Stacy's "Sister", Carrie Jones Lindsey, delivered a beautiful eulogy and Staacy's niece, Robin Lindsey, read two poems authored by Mrs. Stacey. Interment followed at Pine Grove Church Cemetery. Dale Tyson, Todd Tyson, Ronnie Williams, Daniel Harrell, Robbie Lindsey and Frankie Hester served as pallbearers. Jake Alley played piano and Wade Alley ran the sound system; special selections played were "Remember When" (Alan Jackson), "Peace in the Valley" and "How Great Thou Art" (Elvis Presley).
