Tifton, GA - Ann Nell Weeks Smith, 79, formally of Fitzgerald, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia in Tifton.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia with the Rev. Mike Heitzman officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Mrs. Smith was born on February 6, 1946, in Fitzgerald, to the late Truitt and Agnes Parrish Fowler. She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Mrs. Smith retired as a bank teller from Wells Fargo Bank, previously known at the First State Bank of Fitzgerald. She was a member of Pine Level Methodist Church.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald & Sulastri Syarief Weeks of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren: Brandon Weeks, Kayla Ann & Cody Sprague, Caroline Priscilla Weeks, Sofia Lauren Weeks, Jason Michael Weeks; one great-granddaughter; Paisley Kay Sprague; one brother: Hollis "Snap" Fowler of Warner Robins. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her son, Donald McDuffie; husbands: James Elton Weeks and Henry "Rock" Smith; sisters, Essie May Lovelady and Dorothy Jean Spivey and a brother Holland Fowler.
