Calvin Henry "C.H." Gibbs, 83, of Orlando, Fla. died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at Florida Hospital South in Orlando, Fla. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ty Ty Baptist Church Cemetery with burial to follow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Gibbs was born on Nov. 18, 1928 in Fitzgerald and was the son of C.S. Gibbs and Nancy Hogan Gibbs, both deceased. He was a veteran of the Korean War and had lived in Orlando for the past 50 years. Mr. Gibbs is survived by two sons, Charles Henry Gibbs of Norman Park and Philip Dean Gibbs of Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Theresa Ann Gibbs and Michelle L. Kightlinger, both of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, J.D. Gibbs of Ty Ty; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
