Cecil A. 'C.A.' Hutto Obituary

OCILLA - Cecil A. "C.A." Hutto, 76, of Ocilla, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Osceola Nursing Home in Ocilla.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, with Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Burial will follow at Ocilla Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home in Ocilla.


Mr. Hutto was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Coffee County, to the late Robert E. Lee and Fannie Elizabeth Law Hutto. He lived in the Lax and Irwin communities most of his life and was a former resident of Ashburn. Mr. Hutto retired from Irwin E.M.C. after 39 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War era. Mr. Hutto was a member of Ocilla Baptist Church.


Mr. Hutto is survived by his wife, Karen Hancock Hutto of Ocilla; sons and daughter-in-law, Dane and Lillie Hutto of Fitzgerald and David Hutto of Ragley, La.; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Bill Davis of Conyers; one sister, Zephyr Gray of Sylvester; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
