Ball Ground, GA - Claudette Parrish Bishop, 88, of Ball Ground passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at her residence. A graveside service was held for Mrs. Bishop at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at Enigma Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiated.

Born June 26, 1936, in Ocilla, Mrs. Bishop was the daughter of the late Herman Parrish and Mamie Lee Maddox Parrish. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George D. Bishop; one daughter, Sharon Kim Bishop; and one sister, Jo Funderburke. Before retiring, she worked with Southern Bell/AT&T for 30 years. She enjoyed camping with her husband.

Mrs. Bishop is survived by one daughter, Kaye Nipper of Ball Ground; one brother, Robert Parrish of Hilliard, Florida; two grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica and Blake China and Timothy and Marie Nipper; and seven great-grandchildren, Kelsey China, Conner Nipper, Alivia Nipper, Bella Nipper, Joshua China, Adelynn China, and Ambrielle Nipper.
