Gaffney, SC - Gaffney, S.C.— Darlene Blanchard Haire, 68, of 133 West Stillwater Road, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Carolinas Medical Center.

Born in Tifton, GA, she was the wife of Stephen "Steve" A. Haire and the daughter of the late Glenn "Doc" Blanchard and Lorene Barnard Blanchard. She enjoyed cooking and was known as the "Plant Lady", loved traveling and riding with Steve on their motorcycle. She was a homemaker, former retail employee and a beautician. Mrs. Haire was a member of New Harvest Church of God. She had a great love for her Lord, family and church.

In addition to her husband, also surviving are two sons, Chuck A. Haire of the home and Jason Haire (Haley) of Shelby; seven grandchildren, David Haire, Andrew Haire, Jonathan Treadway, Austin Haire, Justin Haire (Cada), Madison Haire and Kenidee Haire; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Haire was preceded in death by a sister, Paula Jordan.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Thursday, December 11, 2026 at Blakely Funeral Home.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Robert Wells officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
