Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband, Ricky H. Nelson of Ashburn; three sons, Steven Bryan Barnes, James Anthony Barnes and Christopher Chad Barnes, all of Tifton; one daughter, Katrina Dawn Nelson of Ashburn; three brothers, Danny Hancock of Albany and Walter Frank Hughes and Charles Edward Hughes, both of Ashburn; one sister, Peggy Norman of Ashburn; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Perry Funeral Chapel, Ashburn. Madie Perryman, 80, of Stockbridge, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at her residence.
