George Gibbs Martin, 78, of Tifton died March 11, 2013 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fletcher Cemetery in Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Linda F. Martin; two daughters, Pam Wedenfellow and Julie Jimmerson; two stepdaughters, Tanya Jordan and Evonne Harris; a son, Michael Martin; and a stepson, Nathan Gabel. Arrangements for the Martin family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
