Dee Waldo, 94, of Adel died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Golden Retreat Personal Care Home in Sparks. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Antioch United Methodist Church in Adel. In keeping with Mrs. Waldo's wishes, she was cremated, and her ashes will be carried to Wisconsin at a later date for a family service. She is survived by two sons, Ronald Coleman of Adel and Gary Coleman of Manchester, Tenn.; two daughters, Anita Bacon of Stevens Point, Wis. and Annette Martinez of San Pedro, Calif.; and a sister, Dallis Faye Newlun of Madison, Wis. Boone Funeral Home is serving the Waldo family. Matthew Robert "Bob" Lindsey, 87, of Hahira died Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at his residence. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Salem Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Money Cemetery in Cook County with full military honors. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Boone Funeral Home, located at 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave. in Adel. Mr. Lindsey is survived by his wife, Lois "Jo" Yancey Lindsey of Hahira; three sons, Robert "Butch" Lindsey of LaGrange, James Perry Lindsey of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Jonathan Lee Lindsey of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Mary L. Lindsey of Hahira; and a sister, Jennie Kate Blackmon of Abilene, Tx. Boone Funeral Home is serving the Lindsey family.
