Claude Leavern Dorminey, 75, of Tifton died Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Tifton with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 20 at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Among his survivors is his wife, Joan Theissen Dorminey of Tifton. Betty Ruth Rigdon Hamlin, 84, of Macon died Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, at Morningside Assisted Living in Macon. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Hickory Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton. There will be no visitation prior to the service. She is survived by two daughters, Jody Loper of Milledgeville and Diane Watson of Starkville, Miss.; and two sons, John Saikas of Macon and Lee Hamlin of Macon.
