Death notices 16 Obituary
Elvenia Tillman Griffin, 76, of Adel, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at Tift Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at China Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Colquitt County with the Rev. Jimmy Hiers and the Rev. James Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 7 until 9 tonight at Boone Funeral Home, 1804 S. Hutchinson Ave., Adel. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Charles Edward Griffin; her daughter, Lisa Schofill, both of Adel; two step-daughters, Elnita Ginn of Valdosta and Jami Ade of Adel; one brother, Carl Tillman; and two sisters, Margie Keith and Eunice Hall, all of Moultrie. Boone Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
