George Basil Franks, 82, of Quitman, formerly of Tifton, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at Lawrence Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Monday, noon-1 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Abbie Duvall Bailey, 88, of Sylvester died Wednesday May 29, 2013 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., today, at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Hillcrest
