Elizabeth Carter, 68, of Tifton, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at South Georgia Medical Center. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Southview Mortuary, Inc.

Mildred Johnson Evans, 87, of Ocilla, died Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Shady Acres Nursing Home in Douglas. Funeral services were held Monday at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla. Burial followed at Brushy Creek Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Ellen Martin of Ocilla, Elizabeth Ann Winebarger of Yulee, Fla., and Betty Jean Bailey of Ocilla; four sisters, Mancy Cato, Dorothy Dukes, Ruby Fussell and Evelyn Buchans, all of Douglas; and a half brother, Michael Johnson Jr. of Douglas. The Paulk Funeral Home in Ocilla was in charge of arrangements.

Lois C. Coker, 94, of Sycamore, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at Ashburn Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Bethel Baptist Church with burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, John N. Coker and Bobby S. Coker, both of Sycamore; a daughter, Laura C. Wiggins of Warner Robins; and a sister, Sybil Gandy of Ashburn. Perry Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

William Morgan of Fitzgerald died Friday, May 20, 2005, at Dorminy Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westpoint Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Westwood Cemetery. Hall's Funeral Home of Fitzgerald is in charge of arrangements.

Maria Magdalia Lopez, 36, of Tifton, died Sunday, May 22, 2005, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Survivors include a sister, Dora Angelina Lopez of Tifton; a brother-in-law, Selvin W. Santa Maria of Tifton; a nephew, Oscar Lopez of Tifton; and her mother, Maria Magdalena Lopez of Honduras.
