James Darrell Gaulden, 70, of Land O' Lakes, Fla., died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Loyless Funeral Home Land O'Lakes/Lutz Chapel, and a graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Snow Ridge Cemetery in Ashburn. Survivors include his wife, Mary; three sons, Greg of Tampa, Fla., and Steve and Alan, both of Land O' Lakes, Fla.; a daughter, Sheri Nelson of Land O' Lakes; a brother, Mitchell Williford of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and a sister, Gloria Holloway of Ocala, Fla. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Loyless Funeral Home. Perry Funeral Chapel of Ashburn is in charge of local arrangements.

Velma Mobley Connor, 89, of Tifton, died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005, at Magnolia Manor in Americus. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Memorial Chapel of the First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson. Complete funeral arrangements will be announced by Bowen-Donaldson.
