Tifton, GA - Gwendolyn "Gwen" Floyd Parrish, 87, of Tifton passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta. A funeral service was held for Mrs. Parrish on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals in Tifton, Georgia, where Pastor Jerry Riggs officiated. Mrs. Parrish was laid to rest at Ward Wilson Memorial Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama, Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. central time.

Mrs. Parrish's grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Parrish was born on August 1, 1938, in Houston County, Alabama, to the late Willie Cratus Floyd and Sarah Mae Sellers. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by the love of her life, whom she was married to for 64 years, George Kenneth Parrish, as well as one son: Kenneth Allen Parrish, and one brother, Bruce Floyd.

Mrs. Parrish was a devoted homemaker to her loving family, loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, serving Him as a dedicated member of her church, Tifton Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a loyal supporter of The Atlanta Braves.

She is survived by two daughters; Pamela Parrish of Tifton, and Wendy Jeffers (Steve) of Guyton, Georgia, their son, Spencer Jeffers, one daughter-in-law; Debra Parrish of Dothan, Alabama, her daughter Kelli Parrish, two sons; Phillip Parrish (Von) of Ozark, Alabama, their children; Elliott Parrish, Phillip Parrish II, Justin Parrish, Katie Paramore, Kristi Hill, Kerri Nowell, and Alex Parrish, and Chris Parrish (Connie) of Dothan, Alabama, and their children; Christopher Parrish and Aaron Parrish, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
