Joseph Jeffrey Kincaid Obituary

Dr. Joseph Jeffrey Kincaid, beloved husband, father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on February 4, 2025. His life was a testament to faith, love, and service.

Born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, Dr. Kincaid excelled academically and athletically. He earned both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from the University of Georgia, where he also served as a graduate teaching assistant. His early career included teaching and coaching at TiftArea Academy and Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Inspired by a passion for helping others, Dr. Kincaid shifted his focus to dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia and completing his orthodontic training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

As a skilled orthodontist, Dr. Kincaid practiced in Moultrie, Woodstock, and Roswell, Georgia, bringing smiles to countless faces and leaving a lasting impact on his patients. His commitment to community extended far beyond his profession. He worked closely with the Youth Department at Roswell United Methodist Church, was an active member of the Roswell Rotary Club, and contributed his expertise and compassion as a board member of The Cottage School in Roswell.

Dr. Kincaid lived a full and adventurous life, enjoying hobbies such as hunting, golfing, piloting small aircraft, boating, and gardening. Above all, he loved the Lord and cherished his family. His unwavering devotion to his wife, Janet, his children, Jason, Janna, and Matthew (Renee), and his grandson, Jacob, was evident in all he did. He also deeply valued his brother, Gary (Deborah), his nieces and nephews, and his role as a loving uncle. He will be fondly remembered by his many dear friends.

Dr. Kincaid's legacy is one of faith, family, and friendship. He will be remembered for his generosity, humor, and kind spirit, which touched everyone who knew him.

A special thank you to The Family Hospice and Comfort Keepers for their compassionate care and support during his final days.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Roswell United Methodist Chapel on February 20, 2025, at noon, with a reception following in the parlor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cottage School at 700 Grimes Bridge Rd., Roswell, GA 30075, or to The Commons at Roswell United Methodist Church, 814 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell, GA 30075.
