Lucille McClellan Horton, 96, of Tifton passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at Legacy Village in Tifton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. A private family funeral service and burial will be held at a later time at Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Horton's nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Horton was born on May 7, 1928, to the late Walter Duncan McClellan and Etta Copeland McClellan in Appling County. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Horton, who died in 1994; and one great-grandson, Owen Johnson; four brothers, Denard McClellan, John McClellan, Bill McClellan and Tobe McClellan; and six sisters, Lennie Smith, Mary Branson, Essie Stevens, Lela Mock, Christine Blalock and Beba Spradley. She was a member of Tifton's First Church of the Nazarene.

Mrs. Horton is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Ann Johnson and Emory, Jann Brodeur and Richard and Zann Kennedy and Anthony; three grandsons and their wives, Rawling Johnson and Carson, Clifton Johnson and Kristy and Zack Kennedy; three granddaughters and their husbands, Suzanne Ganas and Terry, Taylor Brodeur and Victoria Brodeur; three great-grandsons, Tyson Ganas, Clifton Johnson and William Johnson; three great-granddaughters, Ryan Johnson, Julie Anne Ganas and Rachel Johnson, whom she loved dearly; along with several nieces and nephews.
