Newnan, Georgia - Mr. Mark Dale McLean peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Westhill Newnan Crossing in Newnan, Georgia. He was 68 years old.

Mark was born on September 17, 1956, to the late Jimmy and Dassie McLean.

After graduating from Tift County High School in 1974, Mark attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College before beginning a career in pharmaceutical sales. Later, seeking to spend more time with his family and serve the community he cherished, he proudly owned and operated The Medicine Man's Corner in downtown Tifton for 26 years until his retirement in 2022. The store was a true reflection of his passion for helping others and his commitment to the people of Tifton.

Mark was a loving father and grandfather who found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved tending his farm, fishing, gardening, and staying involved in everything happening around Downtown Tifton. His distinctive laugh was unmistakable and contagious, leaving an impression on everyone fortunate enough to hear it; it is a sound that will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his three children: Justin Mark McLean, Katelyn McLean Davis (Barry), and Blake Dale Walker McLean; his beloved grandchildren, Barry Alexander Davis III and James McLean Davis; and his brothers and sisters-in-law: Bobby and Debbie McLean of Tifton, Ray McLean of Tifton, and Sydney and Vickie McLean of Dublin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Dassie McLean, and his brother, Michael McLean.

A private graveside service was held at Inaha Baptist Church in Sycamore on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Mark's life was defined by love, grit, and loyalty. His presence will be missed beyond measure.
