Adel, GA - Patsy Jones Thompson, 77, of Adel passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her residence.
Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Thompson's son, Joseph Thompson, offered a eulogy. Mrs. Thompson was laid to rest at Eldorado Baptist Church Cemetery.
Kade Crumley, Cameron Brewer, Wade Crumley, Joe Brewer, Billy Russell and Melvin Thompson served as pallbearers.
Born August 8, 1948, in Waynesboro, Mississippi, Mrs. Thompson was the daughter of the late Walter Kenneth Jones and Agnes Lynelle Davis Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Alton Jones and Ronald Dale Jones. She loved her family dearly and took amazing care of them as a homemaker. She was a member of Eldorado Baptist Church.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Danny Thompson of Adel; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Kelly Thompson of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jill and Wade Crumley of Tifton and Paige and Joe Brewer of Port Orange, Florida; one brother, Billy Russell of Tifton; one sister, Sheila Finch of Alabama; and eight grandchildren, Autumn Crumley, Kade Crumley, Dani Crumley, Cameron Brewer, Shane Brewer, Kelsey Spurlock, Gracie Spurlock and Jasper Thompson.
