Paula  Pate
Paula Cook Pate, 64, of Fitzgerald, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joshua Bowles and the Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Mrs. Pate will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Andrew Pate, Russell Pate, Wes Wilson, Brad Cromer, Justin Phillips and Kyle Lantz will serve as pallbearers.
Born March 28, 1955 in Tifton, Mrs. Pate was the daughter of the late John Thomas Cook and Leota Franks Cook. She was a homemaker and a member of Ocilla Church of God. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren and very supportive of her husband and their family business.
Mrs. Pate is survived by her husband, Craig Pate of Fitzgerald; two sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Taylor Pate of Portland, Oregon and Andrew and Emily Pate of Woburn, Massachusetts; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Justin Phillips of Ocala, Florida and Georgia and Kyle Lantz of Daphne, Alabama; one brother and sister-in-law, Emory and Deborah Cook of Murphy, North Carolina; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Debbie and Bill Cromer of Sycamore, Kathy and Roy Wilson of Nashville and Toni Hutto of Tallahassee, Florida; and seven grandchildren, Luke, Caleb, John, Piper, Tucker, Lucille and Eleanora.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to The Pregnancy Care Center of Tifton at www.pcctift.com.

So sorry to hear of Ms. Paula's passing. I will never forget her singing for the Rotary Club. Such a great talent and beautiful voice. She has joined the heavenly choir.
