"Excuse me, but Tift County does attract the best and brightest teachers. My daughter is one of them. She not only maintained a high B average in college, but she worked every night to help put herself through school. She had schools all over the states of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama trying to recruit her, but she wanted to stay at home and make a difference. Had she accepted some of these positions, she would have received a signing bonus and a higher salary. So before you complain that Tift does not attract the best and brightest, look around. Thank the good Lord that you have caring teachers like her. Sometimes, they are the only bright spot in some of these children's lives."

A big thank you

"This is a big thank you Rave for Mr. Barner, who was so kind to change a flat tire for me Monday in front of his new restaurant just outside of Ty Ty. He changed the tire for me so I would not have to wait for my road side service to come. He was concerned that I would have to wait a long time in the heat. He had me ready to go within 15 minutes and I am so grateful to him for his help. Thank you, Mr. Barner. My husband appreciated your kindness also. I am thankful that there are still gentlemen in this world."

"Response to 'What I would do... I know I wouldn't shoot a person's car. If the family felt threatened, call 911. It would also be easy to take pictures/video and take out a warrant for trespassing. Many LEGAL options were available."
