Ms. Rose Mae Jacobs 62, of Tifton, passed away.
She was born Sept 15, 1955 in Turner County, Ga. to the late James and Daisy Bell Patterson.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Patterson of Brunswick, Ga.
She has a daughter Datoria Jacobs and four sisters Rena Woods of Brunswick, Mary P. Jackson of Tifton, Ga. Annie Pearl (Bobby) Singleton of Ty Ty, Ga. and Ruby Patterson of Tifton, Ga.; two aunts, Dean Harris of Albany, Ga and Ola Mae Dyous of Atlanta, Ga.; One uncle, Willie Toombs of Atlanta, Ga. and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was employed with Daisy Darling Developmental Center until her illness. During her 22 years of working , Ms. Jacobs acquired many credentials. Her love for children and their development was her priority. She had a love for crafts. During her time of employment with Tift County Extension Services she had a tremendous impact on the community, was a very faithful member of Faith Work Kingdom Ministries under one of her special nieces Pastor Tronda Westbrook, where she served as church secretary and treasurer. While volunteering with Faith
Work Outreach Center she served in the kitchen preparing and serving meals.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held Sunday July 1, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Beulah Hill Family Life Center with Committal services at Greenwood Cemetery and visitation Saturday from 6-7p.m at Southview Mortuary Chapel.
