Sara Evelyn Baird, 95, of Moultrie, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

Graveside Rites will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 18, 2022, at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Jimmy Voyles officiating.

Born on September 30, 1926, in Moultrie, to the late E. A. Baird, Jr. and Lois Sineath Baird. She worked for Swift and Company for 46 years as the office clerk and was of the Methodist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Bulmer.

Ms. Baird is survived by her sister, Ann Baird Varnadoe of Moultrie; nieces and nephews, Ed Varnadoe, Jr. of Knoxville, Tennessee, Suzann Weckerle and husband Marty of Winter Park, Florida, Baird Varnadoe and wife Dedra of Moultrie, Nick Varnadoe and wife Maggie of Erie, Colorado, Charlie Bulmer of Atlanta, Jimmy Bulmer and wife Donna of Cornelia, Georgia, Billy Bulmer and wife Carol of Decatur; cousin, Judy Fegan and husband Ned of Tifton; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home.
