Willie Mae Baldree Obituary

Tifton, Georgia - Willie Mae Walker Baldree, 83, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Gerald Mallard officiating. Mrs. Baldree was laid to rest at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenox.

J. W. Brannon, Seth Brannon, Blake Ball, J. C. Baldree, Cody Smith, and Chance Smith served as pallbearers.

Born April 11, 1942, in Cook County, Mrs. Baldree was the daughter of the late William Wesley Walker and Donamae Lasseter Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lamar Baldree, Sr.; and two sisters, Nora Nance and Vera Spires. She cared for her family deeply and worked as a seamstress, and she was of the Church of God faith.

Mrs. Baldree is survived by her children and their spouses, Marie Baldree Harper (Tommy Smith) of Enigma, Charles Lamar Baldree, Jr. (Shirley Baldree), Karen Baldree-Thigpen (Mark Thigpen), and Wanda Baldree Brannon (Billy Brannon), all of Tifton; one brother, John Raiford "Buddy" Walker of Lenox; her grandchildren and their spouses, Travis Harper (Kimberly), Shonda Harper Ball (Chris), Michael Harper (Casey), Mackenzie Harper (Tiffany), Rebecca (Mandy) Baldree, Brent Baldree (Jessica), J. C. Baldree (Jessi), Jayden Baldree, Jack Baldree, Kaitlyn Thigpen Yeatman, J. W. Brannon, Seth Brannon, Chance Smith, Cody Smith (Skye), and Cassie Smith; and 20 great-grandchildren.
